Got nothing against simpson with him being x-Derby and a good player he was to but at the moment I feel he is just riding a wave started by Mr Davies!

Position has nothing to do with the size of a club though? History does have something, as does fan base (would Derby pull in big crowds when struggling in league 1 like Forest did etc) ?

Forest are a much bigger club than Wigan, Reading and half of the joke clubs in the Premiership. I don't like Forest but this is coming from an outsider's point of view. Oxford are a bigger club than Leyton orient for example. League position doesn't dictate that.
