I have a 96' 1.2. 45 hp just aint enough. I have been looking at K&N air filters, i was wondering if they are worth fitting, and if i will gain any noticeable gains in peformance? I believe if i fit an induction kit the ecu needs resetting, is that true?

Do not bother mate.
anything you spend on the engine will be a waste an you will get no performace increase which i can notice at all.
Save your money for a bigger engine OR look into NOS which will still not give you a massive ammount of power on your 1.2 BUT you can swop it from car to car.

ageed beardy  i had a copy of tv that had a corsa 1.2 8v with a nova gte or gsi manifold and de cat which the fella reckoned he kept up with sports and sri's i think he had a nova cam  would have to check mag was a while ago

spend a lot of money on headwork, 4 branch manifold, 1.4 inlet etc etc, were not just talking a £40 filter from halfrauds!
