I looked on Parkers.co.uk and WhatCar.co.uk which both said ABS and Alarm were optional extras on my car. However I have just linked to two post-97 GLS models in another thread on eBay, which say they have ABS and an Alarm. Could this be purely coincidence that they had it as an extra, or the owners don't actually know what their car has?!

Only reason I ask is because the ABS light doesn't come on when I start the ignition - I have no idea whether there is no ABS or it is faulty?

If anyone knows, that'd be a great help. Also, I know that if I gave Vauxhall my registration they could tell me what it had fitted. Are they funny with doing this?

No, 12v isn't something I like showing off is it easy for you to describe and me to spot?

It's easy to spot, yeah.

Passenger side, in front of the battery, there will be a big silver block with loads of green pipes going into it, if it has it.

My 1.2 16v GLS dont have ABS or an Alarm... but i prefer without ABS - personal preference!
