Hi Everybody...

I'm considering buying a Corsa 1.4 Si GLS but have been unable to find any background info about the 'Si' variant. Does anyone know the history/spec of this particular model? How does it differ from the standard 1.4 GLS?

Never heard of a Si Corsa model. SRi yeah, I used to have a GLS but the 2 are different.

i think the si means it uses the c14se engine, the same one used in the sri (82bhp)

Si is the engine, as fitted to SRi and GLS models. 82bhp 8v multi-point injection, they're all five doors though.

si doesnt mean 8v mine said 1.4 si and was the 16v x14xe model

Does when its on a GLS. Yours is a later SRi.

Engine yeah but different all over to SRi, not sport seats, lighter trim and dash, two spoke steering wheel on pre-bag ones, 165 tyres as standard but they're on a 13" rim.

They're as quick like - and a group lower insurance.

My x14xe SRI 1995 M reg was badged up as a 1.4 Si
