Haynes do a good manual on everything to do with rebuilding a car.

It's called... a Haynes Manual

Which engine is it?

Oh hardy ha! I know what a Haynes Manual is ,

Its a C20XE, just wondered if anyone did a best practice type thing of things to do when freshening up an engine.

I have done a 1.6 8v and a 1.6 16v before just replacing all gaskets seals, re-seating valves, new shells etc. Just wondered if there was anywhere that does a guide before do the 2ltr

Ok mate cool, just wondered if there were any specific areas that can need attention on the XE engine that I didn't know about.

Is there any web sites with things too look for when refurbishing an engine, like pics of worn pistons/valves etc. Just I'll be starting mine soon and want everything mint before it goes back together.
