Dunno I was lookin for engine refurb info on the net and couldn't find much thats why thought would ask. Before I start, luckily my engine won't be going in for a while so I will be able to spend lots of time on it

theyre not that bad the rotaty engines really to re-build, people just assume its going to be a nightmare but i found it took me a fair bit more time that was all

its the same principle with any engine, once you have done one you can do any engine really

unless it was a rotary engine, I wouldnt have a clue where to start. I would have to amature bodge it and see how far I got:look:

Haynes do a good manual on everything to do with rebuilding a car.

It's called... a Haynes Manual :!

Which engine is it?

Oh hardy ha! I know what a Haynes Manual is ,

Its a C20XE, just wondered if anyone did a best practice type thing of things to do when freshening up an engine.

I have done a 1.6 8v and a 1.6 16v before just replacing all gaskets seals, re-seating valves, new shells etc. Just wondered if there was anywhere that does a guide before do the 2ltr
