are all the B prefix engines the same to mount?

I mean, if you bought a B16 engined EG Vti, would a B18 go in on the standard mounts?

infact, is the 1.4 EG a B series engine?

and are there any eg civic forums in the uk?

well the B16 engine mount brackets will bolt directly to the B18 block, clutch linkage needs little work, and the existing throttle linkages need slight modification

The EG was never in a 1.4 they were either 1.3cx/1.5lsi/1.6esi (these were sohc and D series engines) 1.6 Vti (dohc) is the only B series available in a EG

Good look ringing round for insurance, although by the time you've finished it you might be old enough to get covered!!!
