I have spoken to them about this management, not sure it will work that well with the x16xe though as you use the original loom and ecu.

hmm! well the car wipes gsi's now. i have still to race a 2.0 yet. what do you think of the torque. i think i got 125 point something.

c16xe bottom end with a x16xe head and other bit s and pieces between the two engines.

so you took the best bit off the c16xe and replaced it with a not so good bit lol!

management wise if you want cheap good management go for gotech!

as for power wise, youll get more power but as dave said its not mappable.... it continues the trend....

good power tho from the engine so far..... get tb's and management tho and save yourself some cash lol

well it had the inlet and exhaust ports open as much as possible so there cant be much difference between the two

I would have a standard c16xe head over a flowed x16xe head anyday... MUCH better post design.

apperently its the valves that differ in size, althought i have a c16xe head and an x16xe head and cant notice the difference......

i aint going to spend another 300 building a c16xe head up just to get 1-2bhp gain.

160 can be made without tb's. get some standalone management, junk everything off the drivebelt such as power steering and tensioner, electronic water pump and a custom lower inlet and its possible.

would still be slower than a 140bhp tb's 1.6 over a 1/4 mile though.

well i went to gary like everone said and i think he done a great job. well i havent spent 560 on the unichip to get rid of it rite now. i will be getting a new car when i turn 21 so will be able to change bit and try more things when i dont need it as a everyday car

it can, it has been done before by a lad up here. tb's 264 cams and omex management. made 161 bhp on decent rollers.
