My insurer (Tescos) said £100 when I mentioned putting a set of alloys on my Fiesta....not sure about the Mod Friendly Insurers though.

It depends on your policy.
TPFT is a lot less extra than FC.
When on TPFT, it cost me £30 for alloys, lowered, exhaust and inlet.

do you think its more worth it going third party fire and theft then rather than fully comp, after all its only a little corsa not an audi for gods sake lol, plus if its goig to be considerably cheaper then i see it as being more suitable for me! Also, which company's are good for moddified cars?

No. If you can afford Fully comp, then do it. I have an X plated 1.6 Sport. Mint condition on TPFT. Crashed it and had to pay for the damage myself. Cost me £2000 already. I could have bought a years FC insurance with about a grand left over.
