Think it could have potential, stuff like low comp pistons shows that some of the job has been done properly 
Though the I/C facing the wrong way behind the head lamp isn't going to be very effective.

He also mentions its the only one in the country... funny that as Courtenay Sport always have that 1.4 8v SRi on their stand at every show they attend lmao

The only 1 in the Country - WRONG!!!!
There used to be one round the corner from me - ran like someone had done a steaming dump in the fuel tank & spent most of its life off the road....not sure what happened to it

thats my m8s corsa tom from boston its running 183bhp had everything done 2 it.

without building it myself i dont think i would buy something like that from another person.
Unless the work was under warranty....
You really dont know without stripping the engine if it REALLY has low comp pistons.
Saying that, i bodged a 1400 turbo together and she ran superb. Not as good and as doing it properly but she still nipped on. For how much longer i dunno as i sold it 4 months later.

the engine bay is horrid, wouldnt ever buy a car of someone who has already done it to it, i would have to do it myself. and i especailly wouldnt buy it looking like that bodged piece of turd.
