has anyone experienced removing the original material??

any hints / tips to removing the stuff behind it?? netting type stuff??


any info would be good plz

i removed the plastic stuff, but my car was stripped, I would have left it if i had an interior.

my interior is wank tho mate lol.

cream suede looks alot nicer and the cards would end up being the only thing un modded

when you peel back the original material there is some other stuff behind!!

which is a pain to get off

i pulled it off then used some sand paper to take off anything the adhesive had stuck to the car

trimming the fronts is proving to be a bit of a pain in the arse though

oh right well my mate is doing mine and said he is having a nightmare trying to get that stuff off, and he has even tryed burning it lol.

what material are ya using mate?? has it got alot of stretch??

faux alcantara, and there is no stretch at all which makes it even more dificult, so im gonna have to cut it into sections and have it sewn together in the right shape to fit the card, the rears were pretty easy though, as any creases can be worked in so they are behind the seats

i see. well hopefullt will bve attempting to re trim mine this after noon!!

im using creme soft suede which does have so give in it!! plus the help of a lad thats done it before!!

hopefully get some pics up if all goes well

wish mines was going as smooth as that then, having no stretch in the material isnt making it easy

fitted them to car today and they are wicked!!

the lad that done mine does alot of jobs on modded cars!!

will do another set!! pm me if you are interested!! we even have a spare set of front cards
