Its not stripped out no, that doesnt mean i dont drive it quick. To me its a car that i rag about, i love driving it and i just want a bit more poke. I dont want throttle bodies, i have always wanted a turbo and a LET would be rather nice If not i will have to research more into getting my 1.6 turboed

Turboing it would make an interesting project. If you are talking LET conversion money then you could make a very strong 1.6 Turbo with proper management

Hmmm, i have alot more reaseach to do then. As beardy has already given me a price to turbo my 1.6, so i am going to look around abit more at my options.

ever considered the fact the extra strain the bigger engine and more power puts onto the chasis? ie, all your smoothed over fibreglass bits etc will start to crack

i looked into this with my sport but just 2ltr it and keep aircon, from wot i can make out the o/s of the front crossmember needs to be cut to allow fitment to where the aircon pump would sit

put the engine in from the top its so easy,
is there not more room behinde your front bumper cause of the size and shape and the extra depth?
