just hope my mirrors r gona look ok with it all... m3... got indicators in which i liked haha.

have my finishing touching irmscher badge to go on the back aswell...

then when i get it back gona send it straight in for widnows tinting!

i had 3 litres, which thinning down 50/50 with paint thinners so its like 6 litres of paint! was plenty for the last car i did, but that was smoke gray so closer to primer colour!

and this colour is very pearly so have poorer covereage, think i will have enough paint!

will get some pics of tonights progress tomorrow morning if i get time, back to work tomorrow, so progress will slow down

i think this will be ur best job to date imo. because of no flakes etc looking very good

ahhhhh but flakes are nice now it soming up to xmas, make the car look like a christmas pressent for a 2 year old, hehe

more progress pics then:-

been busy as normal, painted over the night!!!!

main shell is painted and all other parts, just got the doors and bonnet,boot to do the front off did the backs yesterday!

rubbed them down this morning just off to work now and paint them this afternoon, all coming along well tho!

i started working on the car a week from tonight!!!

not bad for 7days work! in between working as chef full time

Are those pics before laquer?

What do you do after you have painted to get the paint looking good, do you machine polish/use G3 or anything?

i just paint to where i can get well, no point doing a messy job around the engine and suspention beta keeping it silver till he changes engine or summit like that!

i know wot u mean bout mirrors, when i first saw m3 mirrors i was like oh dear but then realised they were the real deal for corsa no universal mirror then with baseplate mo make them fit, really nice mirrors!!

yea thats laquered there, had good few coats of laquer!

i will prob just flat it back a tiny bit them buff it with some g3! almost thinking of not buffing it cos it has nice shine as it is really!

Inner wings aren't painted as the wings are normally painted on the car. Engine bay can only be done with the engine out, or after a lot of dismantling.

just got the doors,boot and bonnet all painted and laquered this afternoon and started putting car back together now!!

off back to normal work now for the evening then back onto the car when i get some!
