ordered some bedroom furniture from them about 4 weeks ago. I ordered this on the understanding that this would be coming into stock.

I ONLY wanted the first lot, if the dressing table was definitely coming in.

Today, I got an e-mail, telling me that they will be receiving no more stock of this line

so now I'm stuck with a big gap, where I need a bit of furniture to put my TV/stereo etc. on, and whatever I buy, will be the wrong colour, or a different design.

The only reason I chose that furniture over the other items from Argos was because the dressing table is 58cm deep, which is big enough for my TV. It was literally the only range with a unit deep enough for it.

If they'd told me it was being discontinued (which they knew, as the bloke just told me on the phone) then I could have found something else.

Just go for a chrome/glass unit? Will match pine ok I would think?

I've not been able to find anything anywhere.

If someone can find me one which is 58cm deep (for a 32" widescreen), that'll be great.

I can't wall mount the TV, it weighs about 70kg

The reason I wanted the dressing table, is because the hole where the stool would go, would be ideal for my stereo, and it has 8 drawers for all my CDs.

It' arrived earlier, put it together, I'll get the stool to the PO and see how much they want for postage

I'm much happier now it's all here, it all matches and looks ace.

I bought 2 beds of argos direct 6 weeks later we get a part delivery! After just shy of 11 weeks got all the delivery!

kicked off and got a £40 air bed and £30 in vouchers!

left it a week after the vouchers came "not recorded delivery" phoned em back and said i have not had em!!

few days later another £30 arrived!!!

Spent the £60 the other day then got a £5 voucher as spent over £50!!!

Laffin me happy again!

looks good Robin, loving those pics I want something like that for my study when I eventually get one

Is the TV going in the middle of the table or are you having it placed towards the curtains? Should be alright.

towards the curtains. the weight should be spread out ok though, and if not, I can get some metal bar things and run them all the way across the bottom of the top piece.

Pics are home made google images, microsoft word, printer and pritt stick
