Right as some of you know ive had my Xe fitted...anyway It isnt pullin hard at all and the revs go up prober slow...I did notice this my self but i thought i was gettin used to it...Anyway I took Rexy out in it and he said it doesnt move like a Valver Corsa Should More like a Standard 1.6...

And beardy has told me what he think it is?.. he fink one of the buttefly isnt opening or ive got a air leak....So hes told me to clean the Tb and Check for air leaks...This i am goin to do 2morro...

Any comment welcome.?

is it running on all 4 cyl? no misfires?

Check vacuum hoses are round right way and correct one is blocked off.

That was the cause of my air leak.

Does it run rough in general?

theres a rolling road day on 4th Nov in stockport. If its not sorted by then id deffinitly be bringing it along to get more clues.

Ive cleaned the Tb and replaced it with new gasket....Its doesnt smoke,knock or rattle...The engine has done 83k miles....Its had new leads but not spark plugs....But there fine as it aint running rough..

As for the ECU there isnt any Faults what so ever..AS for Fuel Filter that was done when my 1.4 sport had a service in June...So it might need changing(Cant comment)..
Its runs fine put doesnt pull like a 2.0 16v Corsa Should more like a 1.6 sport..
