What would cause the oil light to come on when the level is good?
Could it be oil pressure?? If so how can it be checked as there is no guage on my 20xe corsa?
Tappets are also noisy when the engine is warm.
Please help

It flashes when there is low oil pressure. Means your pump is on the way out. Don't drive the car at all until it is fixed!!! You have no oil level sensor on the car unless it has been wired in specifically.

Took the relief valve out in the end.
Removed the nut, spring and valve and cleaned em up. Did an oil change and fired her up. Instantly it sounded good and the light went off......hopefully ive caught it in time.
Might flush the oil through once more to be sure theres no more **** left in there.

Good stuff, keep and eye on it though because once the pump goes then engine will go literally seconds later. It happend to a friend a while back...
