How can WD40 work? is it only a water dispersant.

You have to do like Adam says, sand the rust back to flat metal, then prime and paint it.

Star silver isn't too bad, should take around a day to complete it with letting the coats dry in between.

Silver is one of the worst colours to colour match.

do you actually know what rust is? lmao.

oxidation of the METAL. ie. t-cut (a car polish/abrasive cutting ageant) won't do anything... apart from rub it back.

plus, unless you take it back to the metal, use some rust treatment, prime and paint it, it'll just come back.

Stop being an idiot. The only way to get rid of rust is it grind it, fill it and paint it.
