Is it just me being too sentimental or would anyone else feel as gutted as I do about selling

I've put a lot of blood sweat and tears into her over the past 6 years and feel like a piece of me is going!!!

All those proud days at car shows when I'd won trophies for best interior, best ICE install, even car of the show on occassion and it made me proud that I had achieved something myself

I still cant believe I'm doing it tbh

How would anyone else feel in this situation??

all comes down to weather you need to sell it an what people situations are.
i always think about selling the V6 but dont think i could do it, an only reason would be for the money which i do not need, so will just leave it in the garage and never use it.

same with my corsa...

Dont 'have' to sell it... but it really more grief thats its worth... and its taking up space where another car could be.

Suppose you've done a lot to it and theres not much left to do. At the same time though as you say you have all the memories of it. You obviously have a good reason for selling though and that out weighs the reasons to keep it!

I'm shocked, yours is one of the corsas i remember from when i first started coming on here, I even have pictures of it somewhere from the first PVS.
I personally can't see me ever selling my corsa, but then im in a position where im able to store, afford and insure more than one car so i'm able to keep it. Where as your circumstances may be different.
Sure it will be gutting to see it go though!

have to agree with Steve on this one. Cars lovely, probably one of the best corsas ive seen on here, but I really dont think anyone would be daft enough to spend 9grand on a Corsa, no matter what it has done to it.

Good luck with the sale though, hope the new owner looks after it

Cheers mate. Thats a recent pic of the boot.
That one from pvs takes me back big style. Oh how shes transformed since then!!
If someone is wanting a one off, unique, mint conditioned corsa thats a rear head turner then its worth every penny of at least 9k

Thats the problem not many people do these days & those that will wont want to pay anywhere near £9k for one.

I honestly think you would do well to get about half what your asking!!

Harsh reality but its 12yrs old & nothing breathtaking to warrent that kind of candy.

I say this because Painz couldnt get rid of his 03 plate 1.8 SRi C with £30k spent on it asking £10k..............it was 18k mile 03 plate car!!

Hope you can prove otherwise though

it's a nice car, can't see anyone dropping anywhere near to 9k on it but there are plenty of people out there with money to burn.

good luck with the sale
