This might be a stupid question...but.....i was wondering what is the best way of tuning a 1.2 8v....if there is such a way of doing so...i just need better throttle response..better pickup.....etc....

there isnt a great deal you can actually do to that engine, most obvious things to add a bit of power to your engine would be an induction kit/ drilled airbox with panel filter, and a full stainless stell exhaust system, but dont expect massive gains of power

Would this make it rev a bit more freely? Well everything bar the exhaust because that would be a big waste of money lol

Dnt 1.2 8v is a waste of time tuning go for a x14xe or x16xe or even a c20xe or c20let...Dnt throw ur money away by tune a 1.2 8v

x14xe is abit rough on the insurance bearing in mind i was 17 in august lol
Might put a back box on to make it sound a bit better

nothing is worth doing i own one at mo. modded air box and cold air feed is only thing worth doing to it, plus if you really want to buy a pipper cross pannel filter go for it as that will help. Wont get any gain but throtle response is slightly better.

there was a guide on it. basicyally it was putting on nova manifolds and things but imo not really worth while...

Im 17 tpft on a R reg x14xe for just short of 1400 a year with Quinn Direct (i have a Pass PLus which makes a big difference 100+)
