right wanting to take of the pas pump as ma car never had it anyway, when a put the engine in (c16xe ) i just left it in as i didnt have the parts to convert it i.e use the 1.4 no powerstearing parts. Just wondering if this is al i need as i know a few of use have done this before...
1. 1.4 sri non powerstearing ALT Bracket and pully
2. New non pas belt
3. engine mount ?? is this part of the left hand mount ? not sure ...
any help will be appreciated.

Ive just done a conversion this afternoon and had this problem.
what you need it a belt and tensioner off a 1.4/1.6 that has no pas. the original pas engine mount can still be used but just remove the pump.

did it take long to do ? and did you have to jack engine up or take out ?
