Hey, ive got a Corsa Sport 1.4 thats done 92k miles. Its getting a little tired, just wondering if you could put an 1.4 sri/sxi engine in from around a 53 plate corsa C into a corsa B ?

Also how much approx will the engine be and the transplant aswell ?
Thanks

it will go in but a with a lot of hassle with mounts, electrics and ecu

imho its not worth it get your self another xe lump and rebuild it. It will be like having a new engine once its run it good for another 150-200k miles

Wouldnt the only thing i need to put this into my B be some engine mounts ? Would a garage charge more for it being a bit more difficult ?

the electrics and ecu are going to be the hard bit with all the emmision cotrol stuff on it also you will have to make a custom exhaust to suit it

After 90k miles, it shouldn't be about to blow up as long as it's been looked after, get the C20XE anyway
