What does it mean when your gearbox oil looks like chocolate??

does it just need flshed and changed or is it more serious?

Noticed this today as i am having problems with my speedo drive .

Ed instead of it being red or clear its turned into a brown liquid thats looks like melted chocolate

Had a clutch done a year ago, so i pressume it was changed then.

just change it and then keep your eye on it and see how it is.

It might have got water in it. Oil goes all brown and funny when it gets water mixed in it.
