Right now my sister has moved out my mum and dad have'nt got a base computer as mine is in my room now. So I suggested for them to get a laptop, theres only really my mum who uses it and she only really uses it to go on the internet now and again to look at holidays and stuff and occasionally for MS Word.
So i'm trying to find a laptop that is good enough to keep up with modern times, with Wireless internet and preferably MS Office. I said they would probably get something decent for upto £500 but im struggling to find anything that looks too good and i'm not brilliant with specs and numbers on computers.
Anyone got any recommendations or anywhere to have a look.

Dell....ask MI5T XE, just got one..

doubt you'll get a laptop with all that new for £500, but Dell will probably offer the cheapest I'd expect.

Thats looking the best bet then really then i'd say? The one for £599. Wireless internet is the main one really as MS Office is pretty easily obtainted. I take it Intel Centrino mobile technolody is the Wireless internet bit?

I have the dell joe...go for it...Yes Centrino is mobile, mini pcmcia is included...go for it...overall, looks, screen size, battery life, everyhting...

the wireless part of it...And it is the Duo Processor
and yes customise it and you can lower the price...by checking the only 1 year on site warranty...
You are also getting 1024MB ram
