Considering getting a remap done on my 2.2 16v, a guy on AS will do it for £180, he uses virtually the same gear as chipeduk. Been told i will see a 15 bhp increase, flat spots removed and better fuel consumption! So as anyone on here had the motor remaped and what gaines did you get?

chippeduk

read the reviews about them on migweb and passion ford.

IMO for a decent re-map you need to look at places like Noble motorsport and Jamsport. The will do a proper job and rather than a dodgy dyno printout they will spend a whole day with the car on the dyno and give you realistic results with no bullshit about how it performed and the gains that were achieved.

ive used them loads over the last few years. They are the only place that I would let touch my ecu! The chief dyno technician , Darren is regarded as one of the best guys in europe for engine setting up and ecu mapping, after all Noble designed and built the engine and running gear and ecu system for the Noble range of sports cars.

I have always been happy with their work and they come highly reccomended on Migweb as well.

as dave said, for remapping, try jamsport, they can do a remap on your standard ecu, no need to have a unichip etc!
