Right!
On my old corsa i have ebc grooved and drilled discs, the grooves curving towards the back of the car like so..... \
But i've seen some cars with grooved discs where the grooves head towards the front of the car, i imagine this way would clean the pad up better but i'm unsure if this is the correct way they should go .......or wont it make any difference??

grooves heading towards the front of the car will see better braking but reduced pad life. Visa versa for grooves heading toward the rear of the car.

ow do I tell what direction the rotors go on the car?

(Driver's perspective looking forward)
The StopTech AeroRotors® are directional. If they are not installed on the proper side of the vehicle, airflow will be restricted and cooling will be severely diminished. The vanes on a rotor act like a centrifugal air fan, drawing air from the inside of the rotor and flowing it to the outside. The vanes of a directional rotor should arch back like arms on a pinwheel. On the top side of the rotor, the vanes should curve toward the back of the car.
The only correct way to determine what side a directional rotor goes on is the internal vane direction.
BUT arent most vanes in a disc coming out parallel from the centre of the discs anyway, not like the wy they are curved above.

It just depends on the internal veins within the disc according to the above. But i thought most after market discs unless you spending alot all come with the internal veins coming out parallel, not like the pic i psted above where they come out directional.

the groove takes the dust away fron the caliper... if you install them with the groove the other was you calipers are going to get caked in dust and wont work to welll after a while...

If you look down the centre of the discs, which way do the internal rotors/veins go?? Are they like the above (curved) or do they just head towards the centre of the disc hole in a straight line.....
