Given the injuries it looks like we may have (Owen + Rio) and the really poor display tonight by alot of the team I would go with the following formation for the next game...
------------------------------Robinson--------------------------
Neville----------Carragher-----------Terry-----------A.Cole
Lennon-----Carrick/Hargreaves-----Lampard-----J.Cole
-----------------Gerrard----------------------------------------
--------------------------------Rooney--------------------------
Back four picks itself IMO. Carra is better than Cambell so if Rio is injured and Neville is fit again there is no doubt who should fill in at the centre.
Beckham doesnt do enough to deserve a place in the team. He hasnt scored a free-kick for 3yrs and between Gerrard and Lampard the dead balls can be taken just as well. He also cant defend or beat man to save his life.
Lennon would offer pace and a true out and out winger on the right. He can beat a man and will compliment Cole on the left.
Hargreaves had a good game tonight and deserves another game in that role. Carrick is probably just as good though so a tough call for the holding role.
And Gerrard has shown again why he should be attacking. He plays 15-20mins tonight and scores. And goes forward for 10mins last week and scores. HOW MANY SIGNS DO YOU NEED SVEN.

when are you going to listen that they are not going to drop the captain no matter how he plays ffs it would have more of a moral effect on the whole team

no need to drop becks, apart from that, agree. lennon vs. tired legs is a much better option at the moment.
free kicks or no free kicks, his crossing is still worlds ahead of anybody else on the team

Becks does nothing in a game, show me what he did tonight. Or other than one ball in last game? I just dont think he is upto the standards to play right wing. He may be a great crosser but he cant even get into the positions to do it as he cant beat a man.
I probably wouldnt say it if there wasnt someone decent to come in to replace him. But Lennon changed the game when he came on last week.

but he was playing with JC at right back, who isnt the best at getting forward, against paraguay beckham was definatly best player in 1st half, everything he touched was magic

he did nothing but put Carra under pressure tonight. Agaisnt a good left winger (Freddie) the right back was fucked everytime as Becks offers no defensive back-up at all.

he isnt the answer to all our problems though, his passing is awful at times, and he wastes a load more shots then he gets on target. i would prefer to see him more foward, but he would just frustrate me with long range misses

there are arguements for and against them both.
Over the last two seasons though the best two have been Carra and Terry...no question. That team was based on Rio being injured though to save arguements!!
