At present I have a FK suspension setup on my car (lowered 60mm) and I love the look of it, but the ride is a bit bouncy sometimes.
I recently snapped up a bargain priced full set of Koni adjustables (on;y a few weeks old).
Now I want to keep the ride height I have (-60mm) but with the ride quality of a quality kit (Koni).
So my plan is to take the FK springs and put them on with the Koni shocks but would this keep the same ride quality as I have now?
I would prefer to put the Koni kit straight on as it's fully assembled and ready to go (with new top mounts etc) but I think it only lowers by 35mm, so has anyone got any pics of a GSi lowered on Konis (35mm) on 16"s so I have an idea of what it'll look like?
I hate having choices to make as I always pick the wrong ones!

I think it will be fine to mix the two sets. I know people that have done it.
To answer the question in your post title, just changing the springs will create a very bouncy ride. My mate lowered his Primera GT with just springs and its just that, its like a spring!!
Hence the need for uprated shocks, its all in the name!

The FK kit is uprated springs and shocks as is the Koni kit, what I want to know is if I purt the FK springs on with the Koni shocks will the ride be the same as it is now or will it be the ride that the Koni kit would give?

Chances are you will get an overall compromise.
