Ye this is true. Also my management light keeps coming up, check the fault code and it say MAP sensor. Now, heres the kicker, when the car is cold for maybe the first 5 mins of driving, when i accellerate and take my foot off the change gears there is a hissing sound... which goes away once the car is warmed up... Now, im wondering if the map sensor is functioning correctly and picking up a leak somewhere (HELP) or the map sensor is itself faulty. Cause the car hates starting first thing in the morning.

PRobably an air leek mate, or a split hose if you get a hissing sound, could be a hairline crack where the air is only getting through when cold.

Also my cousins live in Umhlanga Rocks, but currently goto Hilton College boarding school so not around much as i understand.
