is a 1.2 16v item fine??? it is MPi so i think it will be ok? anyone clarify this?

my m8 has jst put a 2.0 16v in his sxi and needed to upgrade pump as the car just cut out

Mine is out of a 1.2 16v and mine is fine on a 20xe mate
