at some point if you read the thread we was on about the RX7 which is twin turbo. i forgot that it was an RX8 he 'raced' so kindly STFU. hes a joker for even trying

its do with the way engine displacement is measured thats its regarded as a 2.6, you can't measure the displacement in the same way on the two engines

6speed rx8 is 231 bhp and the 5speed is 190bhp. there not very quick really as they have fuk all torque. i work at a mazda dealer and my corsa feels quicker (then again its a 2.0 so it is quicker).
the one to watch out for is the new rx8 comin out later this yr. its been beefed up to a 1.8 twin rotary engine with the aid of a turbo bolted on to it. mazda are looking at about 350 bhp from these as standard

mazda have the 3 mps due out, replacement for the mazda 2 and a mx5 cc all due before christmas

they've only just released a special edition rx8 a couple of months ago. i've not heard anything about a new rx8 coming out, just the cars that are out by the end of the year

They need to bring a new rx7 out imo.
BTW the 190's aren't very quick tbh my mates b16a civic vti kept with one

no there quick its just any car with a B16a is fast ;-) my mates Del Sol SiR (with the B16a) keeps up with me till about 80/90
