just comming home from me mrs gaff last night, and stopped next to me at the lights was an rx8 as he is only a 1.3 i fort id ave a go in me 1.4 SRI as i've got a bigger engine then him,

well, fcuk me they shift bring on the 2.0 conversion then i'll be waving bye bye to that jap crap

jismo will know, im very sure the old rx7 had 2x 1300 rotors, was classed as a 1.3 but still had the CC of a 2.6

Effective capacity of one rotor face is 654cc. So two rotors will give the 1.3 that some people quote.

However, due to the way in which the rotors interact with the housing, there are always four faces involved in compressing/burning fuel, so the 1.3 is technically doubled to 2.6.

Odd thing is that it can be taxed as 1.3, but insurance will treat it as a 2.6. Bastards.
