right its a 96 1.4 16v sport corsa
was in bed with my bird this morning, sister shouts out to move my car so she can go out.
now i lost my key in the house somewhere last night, so i threw the spare key downstairs, and told her to move it.
i look out the window, and see lots of people standing round stratching thier heads
i go downstairs, the car wont start, and when i turn the ignition on, the engine management light is flashing?!
any ideas what this is?
she said it started then cut out on her (i think this may be due to the problem with starting with a cold engine, it dont seem to like to start when cold!!)
any help will be much appreciated, ta, billy

more than likely the spare key isnt coded or doesnt have a chip in it.

found the origional key now, fired up a treat
