how hard is it 2 transplant a 98 1L 12v with a 1.4 8v sri engine and box.have the whole car loom and all

easy enough mate, wiring may be a pain though... be prepared to swap the whole front car loom over (from under the dash) as things like the rev counter will cause issues

so do i not have 2 re-wire it then,droppin the engine in is a piece of pi**,its just all the wires that confuse me

Wiring will be colour for colour... youll have run route some wires back into the car though... the SRi ecu lives in the car, whereas the 1.0 one lives in the bay, bolted to the engine

will do mate.needs a headgasket b4 it goes in cuz i suspect its on the way out.mite as well do it will its out of the car
