I already know the carltons history, and granted back in its day it WAS revolutionary.

It wasn't built in the 30s Dave

It's a bloody Carlton for God's sake.

It is a modern car.

It's just not brand new.

In that it's a Lotus Carlton Dave.

End of discussion.

If you have to ask, it can't be explained.

It's like asking why is fanny better than no fanny.

Fanny isnt always better than having no fanny. Its all about the quality

Dave...

stop lying...

you and I both know...

that fanny is ALWAYS better than no fanny.

Unless she's over 70 of course.

That said, my mate Graham would deem that an advantage.

He's a very sick puppy.

As previously said, it has a good engine. But that power can be made much easier these days, more reliably and more balanced

Not many production cars making 370+ bhp more reliably or balanced than the LC.

No ferrari? or lambo? or any other super car no?

Not realy Dave, they aren't much fun in traffic and tend to break down more than a hormonal woman in her late 40s.

The LC was super smooth and exceptionally reliable.

We should'nt forget also what an elite, rare and expensive car they were when brand new.

So is any Mitsubishi Lancer, or any other car for that matter.

The Carlton is very smooth and aerodynamic for a box though.

vs

please tell me which looks more like a box?

The bottom one Dave.

The top one looks like a modern, top flight executive cruiser/supercar/Grand Tourer.

The bottom one looks a bit like box that has been trodden on in a realy awkward fashion, or a sketch by a special needs child.

Do they not go outside Matthew?

That said, all they need to do is look at an Evo 7 and they will know what Montego looks like.
