has any 1 herad of these caravan springs that you can get to put in your springs to restrict the springs from working properly??

there used commonly to stop big wheels rubbing please reply asap thnx

He means bump stops and like you say are bought by people who tow caravans to stop there cars going on their ass.

Could be used to stop wheels from scrubbing and not dropping past a certain point on a heavy bump.

Halfords is you best bet or somekind of towbar place i suppose

yeh i need to stop my springs from making my tyres rubbing on the wheel arch lip

better still, cut the arches or get the right springs or the right size wheels.

I wouldnt like my springs not to work properly.

Cars put them inbetween there springs to stop the rear from bottoming out whilst towing, mainly used on cars with a soft rear springs/shocks.

As mentioned about towsure.co.uk sell them.

Why dont you just get some springs made up, but have them heat treated different to make them solid.

The spring assisters will only sit between 2 coils. Prob best combining them with a harder spring IMO.
