Nope

But its a relativly easy process. Just best to make sure you know how long the button is for handbrake and make sure you dont drill too close to the inner end of the button (if that makes sense :? )

A screw would work instead of a pin, cant think what sort of a pin you used. Im just waiting for JR to come online and start slating the idea coming up with about 300 reasons for it to go wrong

I used a split pin so it stayed locked.

Cut my hand a few times though so it really wasnt the smartest of ideas

JR isnt down with ghetto car modding obviously

you can also get handbrake handles with a thread on it so you can screw on an end cap which holds the button in.

what you can do rather than drilling through the button ,in a getto style fashion,would be to buy from tweeks etc a master cylinder which you can inter link in your braking sytem ,which when you pull the handbrake up it locks the rear brakes due to the master cylinder,also mot safe

Went to a Russell Swift display once and he uses something like this in his mini - He uses a piece of selotape over the button to hold it in place

Curious for future reference really, road rallying and what not, spoke to my dad who said they were doing the split pin thing 25 years ago when he was road rallying lol
