tried a search and nothing really came up ... how would i go about connecting two different wattage amps to two subs? so that they both get an equal amount of power? cheers

thats a bad idea mate. you want matched amps or even better, one big amp running the 2 subs. if you have 2 different amps and theyre not matched you will get subs that are out of balance and will sound shite
