being cleaning the bay today and look at the top of the engine and its seamed to be dirty but after whipping it with sum grease remover it has no change was going to give it a wire brush or wire wool it over what would you all do thanks

use gunk (halfords) and a wire brush

thats what we use at work , blast it off with a jet wash , best covering the battery terminal with a plastic bag , dry it off , then use something like autosmarts silicone spray which will bring out a nice shine on the plastics too .
