Hiya, Just bought a GSI tonight on a L plate with 64000 miles on the clock. Got it home tonight and it wont lock, as soon as the door pins go down then pop back up. It has a clifford alarm fitted which seems to work fine.
I've noticed that the interior light doesn't go off when you press the boot swith, but it does when you close the doors. Could it be a faultly boot switch? How can i go about testing it?
Cheers Col

Could be a problem with the deadlocks, have you got a key hole or is it de-locked?

Boot switch you'll see when you open the boot, one screw to remove. Easy to find in a scrappy.

I tried locking the car with just a key and they still popback up.
I removed the boot switch and shorted the wire to ground and the light never came on. Problem with the wiring further down the line?
