How do i unplug them so they dont go off when i take my front seats out?

Im taking the two torx bolts out at the back and lifting all teh subframe out, but how do i stop the pretensioners from going off?

little red fork thing... instructions are on the tensioners themselves

oh are they!

thanks buddy, might have to take the panelling off round them to get to them properly.

Its the only bit ive got to do now, nearly stripped it all!

Oh just cant get the drivers side window winder off!

Yeah you will need to take off the trim around the seats otherwise chances are you will snap the trim.

You can buy a special tool to get the clips off that hold the window winders on.

Think I just got a pair of thin pliers and used them to force it off. Pain in the arse

i meant the window winder clip!

Would the lighter work on the pretensioners?

get a rag or something and put it behind the winder, then start pulling it side to side. *ping* it will pop off!

If it doesnt just move the rag around the winder abit more and try again

Its a cir clip (think thats what its called)

You have to prise it open at the same time as pushing it.

If you push the door card in a bit (has a bit of flex to it) then look down directly behind the wiper handle you will be able to see the clip...
