How long needed to change a head on a 1.6 sport?

Any info appreciated.

i removed one in 90mins yesterday. putting one back may take longer as you need to reset the timeing etc.... if you know what your doing (which as you asked how long i guessy ou havn't done it before) it would be a half day job, so set a day aside.

Depends on if you are fitting valves into the new head...

Broster - Thanks, I ain't got a clue how to do a head, i'll be helping a mechanic i know.

Ed - The valves are in, just need to change the cams and stuff.

Just so people know, i'll be taking some pictures and doing a guide.

if your fitting a new head id recommend getting a head gasket set which will contain all the seals and gaskets you need and a new set of head bolts.
