over past couple weeks my petrol gauge been really funny i put 20 quid in and after about 40 miles its reading between half and a quater but if i park car on a down hill it goes up to half or just a lil over is this typical or is summit wrong cheers

I think this happens with all corsa's, if i put my foot down it goes down and if i brake hard it will go up, does it around roundabouts as well

it hapens due to the way the sender unit works in the tank, its a very crude method of measuring fuel level and does vary with the angle of the vehicle.

so say if i got a few subs in my boot and its making back end lower then the front thats my problem

think it would take more of an angle than that created by a small amount of weight in the boot.
