as those with flux insurance know, you have to send back a declaration form with all the details of your car.
I sent it back within about 3 days of receiving it, and then got a letter saying they hadnt got it. So i sent it again, twice actually so they deffo got it.
I then got a letter back saying a couple of bits were incomplete - fair enough. So i sent those bits back that i needed to complete, but i couldnt send my mums driving lisence because she was on hiliday for a month. So i spoke to them and they extended my deadline for a couple of weeks.
I sent the forms back last week, when my mum got back, as they had to be there before the second of feb.
So today i get a letter saying they have cancelled my insurance and require an oustanding amount of £124, this is a week after they took my montly payment of £112!
Ive rang them up and all they can say is that they can give me a quote for a new policy.
All this on top of being made redundant a couple of weeks back, being £350 overdrawn, and now having no car!
I know i posted the form last monday because i was with fozz at powercrazy, so its probably got lost in the post.
Has anyone got any idea what i can do, because at the minute im completely buggered!

probably a combination of the two, i had similar issues with elephant, who confirmed my dd was setup, then cancelled my policy because it wasn't

just spoke to them again with a new quote for starting it again, My premium has now gone up by £400 because 'rates change'. Oh, and i cant pay monthly ive got to pay quarterly! Absolute b0llocks (sorry ian)
The letter WAS posted last monday, it was posted first class and met the last collection on monday, because i deliberately checked!
They have said once again they cant do anything.
I am so annoyed, and i really think i am going to have to sell my car because i just cant afford this!

they are being fair, ive had the final warning letter saying they will cancel on the 2nd of feb if they dont receive the forms.
It would have arrived last tues 31st, so was in time.
Its so annoying because
1- the forms a right sod to fill in
2 - when they sent it back to me mum was on holiday
3- then i send it back within the time, and they dont receive it.

SRI - Co, no i have nothing to prove, ididnt think it was going to be a problem.
Cant believe they're saying the rates have changed though. Thing is, i wouldnt have v6'd it if i hadnt have got that quote in the first place.
Think the car may well be off the road for a while! Maybe even a year.

if you have the original quote then you should be fine. personally it sounds like they have thought the original price was too small. contact the insurance watchdog for advice

More like adrian flux sucks. They did exactly the same thing to me, I don't use them anymore. Besides, they're not even cheap, I've been insured with them once for a month

nah not really, dont really want to sell it.
I think it will only sell if i drop to £2500, in which case id rather keep it.
