Making slow progress cos ive already told the guy in the bodyshop theres no huge rush (engine is still in pieces), but slowly starting to get there...

Badboy rear

With the smooth boot, although decided that i want to keep the wiper so getting that hole drilled back in

Hole cut for plate recess, and old light smoothed over (although I did the light hole)

Roof rails removed and smoothed into the roof far enough to get rid of the dip that you can sometimes see when the rails are just smoothed straight in with no blending(if that makes sense?!)

Old badboy bonnet fitted and repaired after the crash

I hadn't noticed that Nathan, but this guy's work is absolutely first class from looking at his other projects so i trust him with it.
He's hoping to have it ready to be sprayed by the end of the month, which should give me enough time to get the engine built up. Still pretty sure im gonna go for the Hayabusa blue, but keep having the idea of a kandy red.

Nismo i noticed that straight away too.
I'm almost certain your roof will crack within a couple of months, the shell flexes through corners, my mate's roof had his roof re-sprayed twice in 6 months get the chisel out!

Apart from that, bonnet would look better extended i love progress pics keep them coming

Roof had metal plates welded in and filled, not just smoothed, but never had any experience with it before so you might be right anyway! Also had the side repeaters removed and smoothed over but forgot to get any pics. Hopefully will have a bit more progress up in a couple of weeks next time im back home, getting some custom rear arches on it (I asked Iaz if he minded me copying his idea, but going for something a little bit different now anyway )

Few more progress pics, still a bit of prep work to do but almost ready for spraying. Still got to fit the rear bumper properly anda couple of bits to tidy up, but fingers crossed it will be done in time for PV so long as it passes its MOT next week (Standard bonnet and boot have been kept to swap over for the MOT) Anyway, here's teh pics...

Custom rear arches

Customised rear bumper, brought it out a bit to match the skirts...

Colour should be going on wed afternoon or thurs morning Im pretty damn pleased with his work so far

Nah mate its jsut been an eventful past few months and the car had to take a back seat. New engine is ready to be built up, thats next thing to sort out after PV, contemplating selling the stereo though and buying NOS or a cage.
