Sometimes when i goto start my engine up it sometimes feels like its about to stall or its running a really low revs then all of a sudden jumps up.
What could cause this?

Low battery?
Sticky valves?

So when you first start it, it really chugs and splutters a bit, but then the revs pick up and it idles over ok?

General answers for this type on question are MAF sensor, plugs, leads or ICV.

cheers dude

it could be the idle control valve it seems to be reving too low. Ive seen it happen to somebody elses car when it revs too high but not too low.
