Most of the P38 is now on the floor The base of the back bumper shaping is P40, though there is no reason for it to crack there as the bumper is supported on metal brackets welded on..

the way i got a gud gap between a bumper and arch a while ago was pretty much smooth them into each other and used a hacksaw blade and cut down inbetween each, came out really good

3CorsaMeal - P40 is for bridging large areas, then P38 to smoth the fiberglass abit more, then 2k filer to get rid of all pin holes and make it 100% smooth

Short of cutting the bumper to pieces I didn't really know what to do Like I say though, most of it's on the floor now

ull find it much easier if u try to apply the filler smoother n evener with no built up edges etc. try to blend it in and level it as u spread it. alot easier to rub down

ed as much as you slate midas,why didnt you do the work in the first place instead of spendin out loads of money.the problems with body work is that we all want it to be perfect,wright but it never will!filler sinks FACT.and why the hell are you using expanding foam on your scuttle,personally thats worse than any of midas work...

because you use the foam to get it roughly smooth without havin to use shootloads of fibreglass. makes it easier to sand too

i'd always rather do the work myself, for 1 you know whats going on with the car, for 2 you know its getting done properly, for 3 you know that corners aren't being cut, and for 4 its the satisfaction you get off knowing its you creation

Ok, so just to prove to you that I am working on my car here goes...

I fixed the B pillars, no progress pics on the n/s though...




o/s welded up nicely



Ground smooth



Fixed the rear bumper up like a good'un



Needs a little more work



Finished the n/s door handle



n/s side skirt and arch failed the kick test so needed some hacking and fibreglass...




Needs more work though.

Doing something to the front bumper



Still a few other jobs...
