My bro has just got his 1st car (a Corsa  ) and he wants me come up with a simple ICE system for him for around £300-£350 as he doesn't know much about ICE.
What I've come up with so far is:
10" Alpine Type-R subwoofer (I have a spare one that he can have for free)
Alpine MRD-M300 Mono amp to run the sub (hopefully can get one for around £100 off Ebay or know a mate that might have one for sale)
Alpine Type-S 16.5cm components (around £100)
But then I'm stuck on what headunit. I use a Pioneer one which I find excellent but I think it'll be a bit out of his price range.
All the cheap ones I've looked at only have 1 preout or 2 low voltage preouts which isn't ideal. Needs to have at least 2 decent preouts incase he buys an amp for the front speakers at a later date (speakers will run off the headunit for the time being) and preferably be either a Pioneer or Alpine as thats what he prefers the look of and they are a well known brand.
Any ideas for one thats around £150?
I have plenty of spare decent wiring lying round and make my own sub boxes so dont have to worry about that side of things.

I'm not sure if its still on but halfrauds had a sale on HU's a few weeks back - could be worth checking their site. Got £100 off mine
