1. Dont get a Clifford
2. Dont get gap to fit it

I had Gap fit a Cocept 600 to my motor, and they made an abosolute balls of it! A sub contractor turned up on the day, did a half job, then left! He insisted i pay him more money to connect up all the features of the alarm???

In the end, i payed somebody else to sort the f*ckin thing out! Still to this day it aint sorted proper!

And as for the Clifford alarm itself, its shit... and a lot of people will tell you the same.

Hope this helps

There's nothing wrong with Clifford alarms if they're fitted & used correctly...

I had my alarm from gap (clifford 950) and had no probs at all. The guy that came out was sound and fitted my intellistart (cool gadget) central locking kit and flashing door pins at the same time. Got a decent warrenty on the alarm too.

Overall i haven't had any probs with the alarm or gap.

clifford alarms are brilliant, i got mine from a company called Specialist Security, alot cheaper than GAP, very professional and very experienced fitter came and fitted it for me 2 days after i booked to have it done, plus you dont pay until it has been fitted and your happy with it, you dont pay anything up-front. also they offer a free 24-7 call out service if anything goes wrong
