Cant quite understand why it does do 127mph.. Might have a different gearbox in it?

mine did an indicated 124mph with 116bhp....

that was on the limiter

my 1.4 did indicated 127mph we were 4 up and full off gear. (and tracking was 30 degrees out)

No because your speedo will be x% out so the error will be, e.g.

Say your speedo has a 10% over read, which is about standard, at 30mph you will be actually be going 3mph slower than indicated. As your speed increases the percentage error allows your speedo to over read further and further, so by the time you get to 127mph your speedo will be over reading reading 12.7mph. Say it was over reading by 15% the speedo would be over reading by 19.05mph, it only takes a small percentage change to make a big difference at high speeds.....

there is no way in hell your car could do that, my 1.4 16v sport struggles to get past 115 on the speedo, ive had it at 117 according to that and it took me at least 2minutes to hit that down a motorway, and i know my speedo will be off, so i highly doubt that you could reach that with a standard gearbox...
