alright lads + girls

names andrew and i live in derby, am 18 and drive a 1.0 12v red corsa, lowered 40mm, tsw 16" catalunya alloys, gsi spoiler, front splitter, debadged + bump stripped, ripspeed carbon intake box, cat-back exhaust + 4" jap can. plans are to get a gsi kit on it, or just colour code the bumpers + arches. Engine wise i was either thinkin of stickin a t2 turbo on it for a bit of fun or a 1.4 16v engine, either way would be rpoducing same bhp but the 1.4 probably be more reliable without the "pssssshhhhhhhhhh".

Turbo on a 1.0 12v would redefine the meaning of the word "pointless", in my opinion......if you're going for a transplant, why not drop a 1.6 16v in? 2-litre would be a bit painful on insurance, if you could find cover, leave that for when you've built up some no-claims.

Oh, and welcome to CS!

Welcome to CS like plans but the turbo conversion is a touch silly and I doubt you'll get any tish as it'd have to be quite a low boost jooby if you didn;t want it to die, plus it wouldn't produce 90 bhp imo.

Cataluna wheels are sex on a stick, been thinking of repalcing the dares with these, any pix??

And dont turbo a 1.0l, the cost would be silly and i dont think those engine would be designed to take the immense heat and would probably just melt

welcome to the forum, but the turbo idea is kinda pointless. drop a 1.6 or 2litre in it that will give u some "boost"
